Remote Control Talking Alarm System (490-0740) Features Faxback Doc. # 31170 Your Remote Control Talking Alarm System is a highly sophisticated vehicle security system. It includes two convenient keychain remote transmitters, which let you arm and disarm the alarm system from outside the vehicle. This system can broadcast eight messages to confirm system status or to warn someone not to tamper with the vehicle. (Or, you can turn off the system's voice and have it sound beeps instead). It can help deter theft of your vehicle and its contents. And, the panic alarm can alert people nearby when you have an emergency. Easy to Install - requires only two connections, one to the vehicle battery and the other to any switched ignition lead, for most installations. Exit Delay and Automatic Arming - automatically arms the system 30 seconds after you turn off the ignition and open and/or close a door, so you have time to get out of the vehicle. Built-In Siren - broadcasts voice messages or beeping indicators, or sounds a siren to alert you or others to a violation. Valet Function - turns off automatic arming and prevents remote arming for valet parking, servicing, and other times when you do not want the system to arm. Code Learning and Anti-Scanning - prevents other systems on the same frequency from arming or disarming your system. Built-in Intelligent Motion - features two-step triggering to prevent Sensor false alerts. If someone tries to break into or tow your vehicle, the system first broadcasts the warning message, then sounds the alarm if the person continues to tamper with your vehicle. Current Sensor - sounds the alarm if a hood, trunk, dome, or courtesy light turns on. Tri-Color LED Status Indicator - lets you see the system's status from outside the vehicle and shows prospective thieves that your vehicle has an alarm. Cooling Fan Sensor - prevents an electric engine fan from causing a false alarm. (SP/RF 3/8/96)
