The red LED does not blink every 5 seconds, or if the receiver does not
respond to the transmitter and the red light blinks:

    Teach the transmitter, see " Faxback Doc. # 31191, Operation.

    Use a separate 12-volt DC wall adapter (Radio Shack Cat. No. 273-1652,
    not supplied)  and change the switch to the AC Adapter position, 
    closest to the receiver's 12VDC 50 MA jack.
