Your Radio Shack Vehicle Alarm System is an all-in-one design that is
easy to install and use.  It comes with two convenient, extended-range
key-chain arm/disarm/valet transmitters and a starter disable module that
prevents someone from starting your vehicle when the system is armed.

This system can help deter theft of your vehicle and its contents, and the
panic alarm can alert people nearby when you have an emergency.

Exit Delay and Passive Arming - automatically arms the system 30 seconds
                                after you turn off the ignition, so you
                                have time to get out of the vehicle.

               Built-In Siren - sounds a piercing (104 dB at 10 feet) siren
                                to alert you or others to a violation.

               Valet function - turns off arming for valet parking, car
                                servicing, and at other times when you do
                                not want the system to arm.

         Remote Code Learning - teaches your alarm system's control center
                                to recognize only its own remote
                                transmitters, so other remotes which use
                                the same frequency cannot arm or disarm
                                your system.

                Anti-Scanning - prevents someone with an automatic remote
                                code sequencer from tricking your system
                                into disarming.

        Starter Disarm Module - prevents the vehicle from starting until
                                you disarm the alarm system with the remote
                                transmitter and turn the ignition key. 
                                Some insurance companies grant discounts
                                for having an alarm with starter disable in
                                your vehicle.

       Built-In Motion Sensor - sounds the alarm if the sensor detects
                                vibration, such as when someone tries to
                                break into or tow your vehicle.

               Current Sensor - sounds the alarm if a hood, trunk, dome, or
                                courtesy lights turns on.

    Remote Three-Color Status - lets you know the system's status:  armed,
    Indicator                   disarmed, exit delay period, valet on, and
                                violation memory.  It also shows a
                                prospective thief that your vehicle has an
                                alarm system.

           Cooling Fan Sensor - prevents an electric engine fan from
                                causing a false alarm.
