Two-Zone Remote Keypad Burglar Alarm Control Center (490-0451) Features Faxback Doc. # 33414 Your Radio Shack Two-Zone Remote Keypad Burglar Alarm Control Center is a sophisticated perimeter alarm system. When properly installed, it warns you of unauthorized entry into your office or home. Its professional features make it compatible with most intrusion sensors and alarms. It can even activate an optional telephone dialer that automatically calls specified phone numbers when the alarm is activated. You can enhance your system by connecting additional security devices, such as an automatic telephone dialer, sirens, lights, and other accessories. Your local Radio Shack store carries a full line of UL-recognized security accessories. Your alarm system's features include: Delayed and Instant alarm Zones - let you install sensors (not supplied) to form delayed and instant alarm zones. You can install loops of NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed) sensors in separate groupings within these zones. Panic/Tamper Zone - lets you install sensors, such as panic buttons and tamper switches (not supplied), to form a panic/tamper alarm zone, so you can sound the alarm any time, even if the alarm system is not armed. Battery Backup - lets you connect one or more rechargeable batteries (not supplied) to provide power if AC power fails, to maintain all system settings. Automatic and Manual Battery Test - checks the batteries each time you arm and disarm the system. You can also manually test the batteries by pressing a button on the alarm center. External Alarm Test - lets you test remotely installed alarm sirens and/or lights (not supplied) by pressing a button on the alarm center. Remote Keypad Connections - let you connect up to four remote keypads, to arm and disarm the alarm system and to provide status information about the system. Your alarm system includes one remote keypad. Adjusted Entry/Exit Delay - lets you select the amount of time you want to have to leave your home after arming the alarm system, or enter your home before disarming the alarm system. Pre-Alarm Circuit - activates a sounding device (not supplied) during the entry delay time to remind you to disarm the alarm system. External Alarm Outputs - let you connect devices such as bells, sirens, or strobe lights (not supplied) to the alarm system. Auxiliary Output - provides a constant 12 volts DC output, so you can power and activate an attached device such as an automatic telephone dialer (not supplied). Alarm Relay Contact Switch - closes when the alarm system activates, so you can use the alarm system as a switch to turn on a connected device that has its own power supply. For your records, we urge you to record the alarm system's serial number in the space below. The serial number is located on the bottom of the alarm center.
