The Dicon Model 330S is intended for 4 wire connection to compatible UL
listed 12 and 24 volt DC fire alarm units.

As each detector incorporates a 85 db piezo ceramic alarm within the unit,
it is especially suited for residential applications, including hotels,
motels and dormitories where sleeping areas require efficient alarm signal
distribution.

Each detector is provided with an interconnect capability.  When
interconnected activation of any one alarm will cause all alarms to sound.

Each detector has one form A (SPST-NO) relay contact to activate the alarm
initiating circuit in the panel.

ADVANCED ENGINEERING FEATURES

    Four wire low current design -- 12 to 30 VDC or FWR range

    Dual ionization chamber for fast response to visible particles of
    smoke.

    Built-in sensitivity test button checks calibration of individual
    detector without activating the control panel.

    Optional interconnect features (12 unit maximum) -- all interconnected
    detectors will sound if any one unit is activated by smoke. 
    Additionally, all alarms may be activated by applying positive rated
    voltage (10 to 30 VDC) to interconnect line, either from a control
    panel or a normally open switch (i.e. manual pull station).

    Dual power and alarm signalling leads prevent looping of conductors
    and allow wiring supervision.

    Solid state alarm indicator lights on unit initiating alarm for ease
    of troubleshooting -- indicator remains on until reset from control
    panel.

    5 second delay between smoke detection and activation of alarm
    signalling relay prevents false alarms due to momentary transient
    conditions.

    Form A (SPST-NO) relay contact activates alarm initiating circuit in
    the panel.

    Universal mounting plate for ease of installation and troubleshooting.
