Instructions

The Radio Shack 9 volt, 1.2 amp AC-to-DC Power Adapter is designed
specifically to power the Sega Genesis Model 1601 video game system.  THIS
IS NOT A GENERAL PURPOSE ADAPTER, FOR RADIOS, TAPE PLAYERS, TV SETS, OR OTHER EQUIPMENT.  If this adapter is not compatible, IT CAN RESULT IN
PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE SET.  Consult the owner's manual or study the
electrical rating plate to make sure that the device requires 9 volts DC
with negative tip polarity.

1.  Connect the coaxial power plug to the external adapter jack of the
    video game.
 
2.  Plug the AC Power Adapter into any standard 120VAC electrical outlet.
 
3.  Operate the video game as instructed in its original owner's manual.
    If set does not operate, IMMEDIATELY disconnect the adapter and review
    the above steps.

video game, such as lightweight and in-ear stereo phones, cleaning kit and
joysticks.
