INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Step Down Mode:  Converts 220/240 VAC to 110/120 VAC.  Allows 110/120 volt
appliances to be used with 220/240 volt electricity.

1. Plug the 11/120 volt appliance into the 110/120 volt socket on the
   transformer.

2. Plug the round pin plug on the power cord into the 220/240 volt wall
   outlet.

3. Turn on the appliance.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

1. WARNING!  This device is intended for use ONLY in foreign countries to
   convert 22/240 VAC to 110/120 VAC.  IT IS NOT INTENDED NOR DESIGNED FOR
   USE IN THE U.S.A.

2. DO NOT operate any appliance(s) with higher wattage than the rating of
   the transformer.

3. This transformer is for indoor use only.

4. The two-prong plug is designed for use primarily in Continental Europe.
   If you plan to use this device in other 220/240 VAC countries, an
   adaptor plug set (i.e. Voltage Valet PF or Archer #273-1405) might be
   required.
