Color Supreme 210 Ant. (150-1834) Preparation Faxback Doc. # 3395 ASSEMBLY 1. Insert the two probes on the end of the loop antenna/reflector's mast into the recessed holes on the loop antenna base. 2. Thread the telescoping antenna holders onto the adjustable antenna studs and hand-tighten them. 3. Insert the threaded ends of the telescopic antenna elements into their holders and tighten them. CONNECTIONS The antenna connects to your TV or FM receiver using either the supplied VHF and UHF 300-ohm twinlead wires or 75-ohm coaxial cable (not supplied). The twinlead wires end in spade lugs. Follow these steps to connect the antenna's output to your TV set (or FM receiver). 1. Place the antenna on top of the TV (or FM receiver) so it is close to the VHF terminal screws. 2. Connect the antenna using one of the following methods: If your TV set (or FM receiver) has an F-connector, connect one end of a coaxial cable (not supplied) to the antenna's F-connector. Then connect the other end to your TV set's (or FM receiver's) F-connector. If your TV set (or FM receiver) does not have an F-connector: - Connect the antenna's brown 300-ohm twinlead to your TV set's (or FM receiver's) VHF terminal screws. - Connect the antenna's gold 300-ohm twinlead to your TV set's UHF terminal screws. 3. Insert the AC adapter's small barrel plug into the power input jack on the back of the antenna base. 4. Plug the AC adapter module into a standard AC outlet. Caution: The supplied adapter provides 6 VDC and 200 mA, its center tip is set to negative (-), and its barrel plug correctly fits the antenna's DC 6V jack. Using an adapter that does not meet these requirements could damage the antenna or the adapter. (br/all-12/02/94)
