If you have followed the instructions in this manual but have difficulty
operating your VCR, check the SYMPTOM column below.  Then check the
corresponding POSSIBLE CAUSE column to locate and correct the problem.

Modifying or tampering with your VCR's internal components can cause a
malfunction and might invalidate the VCR's warranty.  If your VCR is not
operating as it should, the suggestions in the troubleshooting chart might
help.  If you still need assistance, take your VCR to your local Radio
Shack store where our personnel can arrange for service if needed.
