You can power your TV using a standard AC outlet or a 12-volt vehicle 
battery.

USING AC POWER

Plug the supplied AC adapter's barrel plug into the DC 12-14V jack on the
back of the TV.  Plug the other end of the AC adapter into a standard AC
outlet.

CAUTION:  Use only a UL-approved Class ll AC adapter that supplies 13 volts
          DC, delivers 850 milliamps, and has a center positive plug which
          properly fits the Portavision's DC 12-14V jack.  The supplied AC
          adapter meets these specifications.  Using an adapter that does
          not meet these specifications could damage the TV or the adapter.

USING A VEHICLE BATTERY

NOTE:  Your vehicle must have a 12-volt negative-ground electrical system.

1.  Plug the supplied DC adapter's barrel plug into the DC 12-14V jack on 
    the back of the TV.

2.  Unplug the vehicle's cigarette-lighter, and plug the large end of the 
    DC adapter cord into the cigarette-lighter socket.

CAUTIONS:  Always unplug the DC adapter from the cigarette-lighter socket
           before unplugging it from the TV.

           The supplied DC adapter supplies 12 volts with the center tip 
           set to positive and can deliver the 850 milliamps the TV draws.
           Using a DC adapter that does not meet these specifications 
           might damage the TV, the DC adapter, or the vehicle's electrical
           system.
