Home Satellite TV Antenna (160-2508) Setting The Inclination Angle Faxback Doc. # 31428 The correct inclination angle setting is necessary to allow you to receive all the satellite signals. Use data from your alignment data printout during this procedure. CAUTION: To protect your dish, we suggest that you get a friend to help with this procedure. 1. Locate the maximum look angle listed on your alignment data printout. 2. Determine which hole to attach the turnbuckle to as follows, See "Angle Adjustments/Connections": * If the maximum look angle on your alignment data printout is 54 degrees or greater, use hole B. * If the maximum look angle on your alignment data printout is greater than 38 degrees and less than 54 degrees, use hole A. * If the maximum look angle on your alignment data printout is 38 degrees or less, use hole C. 3. Loosen the inclination adjustment bolts, lower the dish, and reattach the loose end of the turnbuckle. NOTE: Be sure to leave the inclination adjustment bolts loose until we tell you to tighten them. 4. Be sure the dish is centered (the alignment mark on the worm-gear cover is pointing at the mark on the rack gear plate). 5. Turn the center section of the turnbuckle until the inclinometer reading matches the maximum look angle listed on you alignment data printout. NOTE: Be sure to leave the inclination adjustment bolts loose until we tell you to tighten them. (CS 3/19/96)
