If you followed the instructions in this manual but have trouble operating
your Model 28, locate the problem in the SYMPTOM column below.  Then check 
the POSSIBLE CAUSE column to find the problem.  If you still have trouble 
operating your Model 28 contact your local Radio Shack store for assistance.

       SYMPTOM                     POSSIBLE CAUSE

               No power.    Power cord is not connected.

                            POWER is not pressed in.

                            DC power cord is connected when you want to use 
                            AC power.

                            Replace the fuse in car battery cord.

     Noise in picture on    Tracking control needs adjustment. See "Tracking
               playback.    Control", on Faxback Doc. # 33163.

                            Video head is dirty. Head cleaning is necessary.

Operation buttons do not    Dew protection system is activated. Wait until
   work when power is on    activated.  Wait until DEW disappears from the
