Q:  Error shows circle with a plus sign in it.  What does it mean?

A:  Accumulation of dirt, etc. on the head after long periods of use
    result in the display in the viewfinder of a circle with a plus sign
    in it.  Picture playback might become blurred or interrupted.  This
    does not mean that the recorded program has been erased.  Clean the
    camcorder's tape head using only a special 8 mm VCR/Camcorder Cleaner
    Kit (Cat. No. 440-1144).  If this problem persists, contact your
    Radio Shack Store.
