Portable TV (160-0121) Operation Faxback Doc. # 7799 To operate your TV: Turn on the TV by moving the VOLUME dial up until it clicks. Adjust the volume by moving the VOLUME dial up or down. Select the channel as follows: 1. Set the TV band switch to the desired band. Move the TV TUNING dial until the dial indicator points to the desired channel. Then, fine tune for the best reception. Improve the picture quality by adjusting the following controls on the back of the TV. To adjust the brightness of the picture, rotate the BRIGHT control. To adjust the difference between the light and dark areas of the picture, rotate the CONTRAST control. If the picture rolls, rotate the V-HOLD control until the picture stops rolling. To change the viewing angle, for table top viewing, position the support bar under the TV. To listen in privacy, plug mono earphones or headphones with a 1/8-inch plug into the HEADPHONE jack on the back of the TV. NOTE: The internal speaker is disconnected when you use the HEADPHONE jack.
